Please and thank you.......
I need some footing to help me reach towards some dreams and independence. My dreams, well if you are a regular reader of this blog, then you know that through my bluntness and sometimes controversial postings, my goal is one thing -somehow to make better tomorrows for others as I do for myself navigating life as a survivor, of many traumas and spiritual being.
From day one is really has been about healing hearts, including mine. This year marks 15 yrs of my ramblings about my life as a survivor, a reporter and community volunteer. If you look back then you know one night I just stumbled into blogging due to a suggestion from an online friend. I had no idea what to do and before I knew it things flowed as if it was my online journal.
I opened flood gates that had been chained up since I was first molested by a neighbor, as a child - I was 5. Giving wings to those pains, well I don't know how to explain it but it started a domino effect which then allowed me to share more of like incidents and especially from my eyes coming together from all those paths, wearing all those hats.
My regular readers have been privy to a lot and I hope in a way that somehow you too were helped, even if it meant you felt a little less alone in this thing we call life.
Right now I am at another crossroad - I've been trying to get things back going with this blog, the message, and updating it to include so much more but my problem is I've had hurdle after hurdle after hurdle, including tech. It's been a tough road these last years navigating healthcare and Social Security Disability Insurance. At times you ask yourself if the crumbs are worth it....and they're not <-- especially when your mind is not ready to hang it up even though your health conditions are telling your body something else.
It's a battle.
And one many in this country are having right now, including many survivors landing there after all those years of fighting to survive the domino effect of adverse childhood experiences. I want to tell those stories, I want to share the beauty that can be found in society's throw away heap - I want to share the kindness I've seen by people you would least expect...
But to get me there and to them I need help.
So, I ask if this blog and my past efforts has meant anything for your better tomorrows then please consider a tip or donation to help me keep going, growing, and giving back...
So, with that, thank you for reading and considering leaving a tip to help me keep going. I am an independent disabled American working hard to supplement SSDI and hopefully break free from needing it - I appreciate all assistance.
