It's a Rock Opera, I tell ya - in my head.

I have a question for society on the topic of domestic violence. And the motivation behind it is not from knowing one living example, but unfortunately many - and others from helping their victims find resources.

If you know that guy gets into bar fights, can't be invited to a party because they will get blitzed and make a scene - has friendships that go dry for months, years..after such things, then why can't the very people who have witnessed or been targeted by it believe that shit goes home with them - and, it's worse, because no one is there to witness it. I've had it happen to me and I know for many women/survivors that the automatic reaction is "she deserved it somehow because THAT would never happen, and she's mouthy anyhow."

"Why is attempted murder within a relationship something that must be forgiven and let go of, but if they came into your home and did the same...? I mean after all, didn't you deserve it, too?"

These are the things I think of riding in the back of my son's van on the way to a thrift store, THAT, and how Anne Boleyn turned into a rock opera would be cool.

Which,  while making this, I wondered how cool would it be to take ancestors from my tree and put their story in a video? As for my thrift store purchase - I couldn't find what I was looking for, supplies to make a moisiac, but I did find a bin of Barbie like dolls that I plan to upcycle into...well, we'll see.
