Wings - the Dove of Peace -

 

I have very distinct lines in my ancestry - strong Catholic and strong medieval fraternal orders that are often at a standstill with one another, still,  judging intent. 

It's stupid. It has caused great strife in the world. A lot of pain and often from games behind doors. And both live with rules written when women were held in towers only to have their heads chopped off by a king making changes to the Bible. Kinda like how to political parties view a constitution, to their individual liking. 

Duality is on my mind this morning - I guess I feel the pull from within and have been for while.

An ancestor of mine helped cement that line in the sand and just this last century -so the wound is still deep - Fr. Stanislaus Woywod. 

Woywod came from Warmia, East Prussia - a Catholic land-locked island stronghold that survived through centuries of brutal -BRUTAL- wars of conversion.  Literally both sides of my family line -literally. We're talking non-stop. Before this last 1000 yr battle it was the Catholics forcing pagan Prus to conform. 

Stupid. 

Those deep wounds and the emotions that go with them are pounded into the DNA making no room for growth, evolving - how can either claim spiritual high ground?

And I know most people get what I am saying, at least students of history will -it's the hierarchy (both sides) who takes rules written in blood of the innocent spilled and live in the past. THEY WILL NOT LET GO.

THIS IS WHY THE DOVE OF PEACE DOESN'T FLY AS IT SHOULD. 

It's wings are broken. We know it about our own political party system and why right now we need beer commercials to remind us about that Eagle, and when it soars, it is beautiful. 

I don't know about y'all - but I feel both birds should soar in a sky that is clear and beautiful or else we keep grounding them with more innocent blood spilled - 

And what does that do? Well, if you're a believer then you know The Sacred and The Scarlet hearts are breaking with endless tears as we slap the memory of the One they so loved. One of them his life giver and the other, her heart is still entwined with His. 

Let it go! Or get counseling. 😉

Let creation evolve rather than stunting it's growth.
