Can We Just Shake It Out?

Talking just love and light when the world is imploding is not working -

Dwelling on the world imploding, yeah, have fun with that- even I take breaks from the morbid. 

Wanting complete control over the other side is only perpetual pain -each of us has stories and experiences that are beneficial for motivation and to serve as warnings of wisdom. 

We are all walking around this Earth encased in our own body of spectrums - so many at once- Mental, health, physical, Emotional, learning..and on and on, similar but unique. 

We're never going to convince one another of absolute allegiance and nor should we. 

We have to be comfortable with that while also respecting we all have passions where those individual experiences have built our own expertise, we all will have moments where we stand our ground on certain things - it makes for some excitement and opportunities of growth. 

When I advocated at IEPs I was firm on all conversations in that meeting were child/student focused - Free Appropriate Public Education in the Least Restrictive Environment, period. I didn't want to hear about admin and teacher battles - those woes did not get placed on that child. I was firm.  It's things like that, each of us have within -for me it's respecting the little girl in me who is going to do her damndest to protect that next child and accepting that sometimes I may fail. 

I believe everything we do, create and stand up HAS TO BE CHILD FOCUSED and towards growth. Period. YOU FOCUS ON THE CHILD BY SUPPORTING THE PARENT. We can hash it out, believe me, I've sat at tense damn Thanksgiving meals - I'm alive and never pretended not to be. 😊

We can do this even if we do not like one another - the country is huge, you don't have to be neighbors, and if we got our acts together we could make it easier to move by balancing the playing field - duh. 

OK - my before bed thoughts after taking in a day of surreal history - and then wondering how much of it. is actually real or had it been visited by Team Snow White.
