Rant - Troll attacks news anchor in LaCrosse

Warning - I am about to go on a rant -

Yesterday Wisconsin made national news and once again it's because of a white 40 something male who believes he has all the answers - see the following video of Jennifer Livingston responding to a critique from a troll viewer of the morning news show on WKBT out of LaCrosse, WI.....and even though the viewer states he rarely watches, I consider him the definition of a troll as it appears he wants nothing but attention -

I give this woman a lot of credit for facing the criticism and on camera to a society that is now pointing fingers at it's overweight segment.

As she stated ---this man knows nothing about her other than what he "sees" on his television screen -

It's important to keep that in mind as I go off on this rant -

Today..actually a few minutes ago, I read on Jezebel that Mr. Troll responded yet once again -

They stated he released another statement - he being Kenneth Krause a personal injury attorney (ironic, huh?) with the following -

"Given this country's present epidemic of obesity and the many truly horrible diseases related thereto, and considering Jennifer Livingston's fortuitous position in the community, I hope she will finally take advantage of a rare and golden opportunity to influence the health and psychological well-being of Coulee Region children by transforming herself for all of her viewers to see over the next year, and, to that end, I would be absolutely pleased to offer Jennifer any advice or support she would be willing to accept."

Here comes the rant...........

This man knows nothing about this woman -
He does not know her history -
Her medical condition
If her weight is in fact causing a medical condition
Or if she has a medical condition causing the weight -
Could she be on medication causing the weight gain....HE DOESN'T KNOW and it is NOT HIS BUSINESS

He stated he is not a regular viewer -
Therefore he is clueless on if she has just recently gained the weight or
If it has been a lifetime struggle
Did she just give birth?
I don't know..I don't watch the show - Mr. Troll wouldn't know either unless he is lying

No, this so called man knows nothing other than how to judge what he doesn't know -

And, currently in this society that is a HUGE problem - it's rampant and it's targeted at many segments of society from the overweight to the poor.

I see it on Facebook every day -

Pictures of people living in poverty with sayings such as "Cure welfare, get a job"

Every single day I meet people living in poverty...people on food stamps and guess what...MOST OF THEM WORK - but don't tell that to the Know-It-Alls out there who think they know everything there is to know about poverty or welfare - or like the Troll ..Krause...think they know about a news anchor and her weight -

Here's the thing he doesn't understand - Livingston IS a role model - a role model to young girls who are being bullied for their weight - too fat or too thin - it doesn't matter - she's a role model for all young women that if you try...you will succeed - the key is confidence within yourself!

As for Krause........

TROLL....Dude...go chase an ambulance - it just may have some girl in there fighting for her young life because of a suicide attempt after some bully targeted her because he thought he knew everything -

History Shrouded in Mold - Part 1

Sipping my morning coffee I sit on my bed looking out almost century old windows and into the backyards of my neighbors. This morning was no different. The sky is grey and there is a slight chill in the air, reminding me that outside that glass is another world filled with life and adventure, stories to tell and lessons to be learned...knowledge to be gained. A Pay it Forward Christmas...

The Christmas Clues came all month long.....a month filled with constant motion ..chaos...stress...and deep inside me the usual holiday dread. Woolverton The picture above is of a West Point graduate (Class of 1997) who went on to have a military career that most men at one time were little boys dreaming about as they played with their G.I. Joe's and Army Men. A sweet face, I am sure as a mother, his own mother worried about his safety every waking moment while he was enlisted. This is him - that same once good looking - waiting to to take on the world, young man. Life has taken a toll, that is obvious - at first glance you might think that the horrors his eyes seen as a former JAG officer eventually led him down the path of self medication and drug abuse. His soul appears to be lost behind those eyes - Truth is, after reading and taking what I have learned since receiving an email today to his story- He never had a soul - at least one with a conscience to begin with.
