Dear Anne Frank..it's been a bit...
Dear Anne Frank..it's been a bit,
Your era's grandchildren didn't take heed- they carried the same fear-those frustrations you had-that anger, forward into the future generations. They never spoke of the reasons why - they just did. Your side and my ancestors, their sides. All that hate from pain taking out revenge while paranoia plants the next seeds.
It still plays out today- topsy turvy, Freaky Friday like switcharoos - but, yeah,, Anne, they didn't listen. And it's gotten worse, it is in our faces, all day every day.
Tonight these words came to me and I thought of that young Jewish girl who bled her innocent life and fears in words on to pages for us to be able to "feel" history...and yes, Anne, we still missed the message.
We take the female heart for granted.
We mock her emotions, tease her hopes, and stomp on her pain with disregard.
Oh, but do we run to her embrace when we need a distraction willing take blame - knowing her tears will be mocked, her hopes dashed and her pain never truly known.
Every generation, one after another, will never know the pain, and depths of a mother's heart until it is felt, and then - it's too late, as you will be mocked for your emotions, hopes....shattered, and that pain - never truly understood....ever, until the next generation...well..and so on...
Mother Mary this is why I turn to her as a symbol when I need one - she understands all of what I have just expressed, the only one ...nonfiction or fiction.. the only one - a child gave birth to a child who was betrayed and killed in the name of the Lord and future Love.
We have to change course.......Mother Mary Hear Our Tears..
Be Well 💜🌹💜🌹💜
