She gave a damn and we abused her - Mary Magdalene, The Scarlet

My coffee thoughts from this morning -

Tabernacle Colors- Blue, Purple, Red, woven together with cherubim.

White represents our birth - the innocence.

Blue is often related to Mary and Purple ..nobility, kingship. royalty

But Scarlet red ..sacrifice and redemption

I'm seeing it differently- Blue representing the Sacred Mother Mary, Purple representing a wholeness when you combine in the fierce passion of a scarlet letter worn for centuries, Mary Magdalene (The Scarlet),  with that Virgin blue. Duality coming together and creating a perfect convergence of Love, how humans were meant to be, bruised yet strong so that other may never feel their pain - Not good vs evil in everything for everything but rather duality creating a beautiful trilogy all captured within one, deep - at our core #HolyGrail where our blood is purified with every moment of life.

ok - and now cherubim means (Google summary) "Biblical cherubim are powerful, complex angelic beings associated with God's presence, serving as guardians of Eden, chariot bearers, and throne occupants. Described in Ezekiel as having four faces (human, lion, ox, eagle), four wings, and being covered in eyes, they differ from modern childlike depictions."

Enter paganism that the stories of the bible........

Anyhow - Look at what we've done to her - Mary Magdalene and all because she gave a damn

Truth? Fantasy? Prophecy? Symbolism found during the Holy Month? You decide.

Be Well.

And - if you are a non-believer- ya gotta admit it is one heck of a story...
